A hidden (lost) gem has just hit the market in Echo Park. This house is exactly what I LOVE about Los Angeles architecture! A John Lautner (read: world famous architect) designed stunner of a home that’s been in the same family since 1965 with views for days and walls of glass to view them from. Here are a few teaser pics:
This long lost Lautner is a super rare opportunity and they are looking for a buyer to preserve the home for years to come. Listed in Echo Park for $999,000 with an adjacent lot available for purchase. Any interest in seeing it? Let us know! For more photos, click here.

Oh, I love a good fixer!
This Mid-Century sleeper looks utterly boring from the street but turn the corner at the front door and wow, the potential! It needs a curb appeal overhaul and the interior need a lot of work as well but that’s my kind of project. I love that the kitsch tile along the fireplace has survived and is so current. The garden needs improving but the location is superb.
I’ll take it!…Or if you want to take it or see it, let us know!
Every once in a blue moon, I walk into a house and swoon… This was it for me. A stunning Los Feliz Mid Century home with modern additions that make you want to throw a party. A serious party with lots of people, cause this home can manage it. There’s a wall length sliding glass door (it’s really a sliding glass wall) that opens the middle of the house to the back yard. With a pool. And terraces. Heart pounding love!
Located on a quite street at the edge of Griffith Park, it’s a dreamy neighborhood, up in The Oaks. For more pictures, click here. If you would like more information on this gorgeous Los Feliz Mid Century home, please contact us. We would be happy to set up a showing!

I wish I was in the market right now cause I’m experiencing serious house envy. Young Woo’s personal residence hit the market in Mt. Washington and I want it. I’m sure I’m not the only one…
Man, this house slays me… Walls of glass everywhere. The listing agents note “Views of the L. A. skyline and nearby hills are captured by glass walls in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. A den with sliding walls separates the guest bedrooms from the main living areas.” Singing my tune!
I’m in love. Want to see it? Touch base with me and I’ll schedule a showing!

Ok, so the best of today’s Brokers Caravan was hands down a fab Mid Century by Gus Stamos (no relation to John) in Eagle Rock on Monte Bonito.
The pictures don’t do it justice… A half moon drive leads up to the entry with more storage than most garages. As someone with a storage shed packed with camping gear and holiday decorations, I appreciate a bit of storage!
The main house has original floors, gorgeous wood beamed ceilings and walls of glass leading out to the lawn. The built-in hutch at the entry is the perfect room divider and a testament to the design of that era.
The cabinets and counters in the kitchen look original and are in excellent shape. I’m a sucker for a vintage stove… they are a dream to cook on!
Three bedrooms in the main house and one bath. The master is drenched in light and looks out onto the lawn. Speaking of lawn…
There are numerous places to relax or congregate… The patio off the living room, the hot tub and outdoor shower, the pool, the deck off the guest house. Really, it has everything.
The large guest house is the piece de resistance. More recently built, the owner made sure the original architect approved. Talk about great family pad!
